Daar was ik al bang voor, dus de ouderwetse barometer truuk met tikken op de meter als hij veel verspringt wordt het slechter, of beter. dat is waarschijnlijk ook het enige waar vanuitgegaan wordt want beide stations hebben een barometer.

we gaan wat meer waarde hechten aan de MOS image en met een schuin oog kijken naar de verwachting /voorspelling van Davis.

Nou werd ik in eens ook nieuwsgierig naar de basis van een simpele verwachting.
Tijdens mijn zoektocht kwam ik hier terecht.

Een hele leuke informatieve site in Jip en Janneke taal.
In het menu aan de linkerkant kun je in een submenu verder bladeren.
De basis voor een voorspelling is wel de luchtdruk.

Jawel, zeker een bevestiging dat er weinig van klopt , zoals voorgaand verhaal 2 meetstations van hetzelfde merk waarvan er 1 alleen maar UV/Zon en barometer heeft, de andere heeft alles behalve UV en Zon , beide stations geven dezelfde forecast.

als je nu op mijn site kijkt zie je een snel stijgende barometer en een voorspelling die nergens op slaat, en is zojuist veranderd naar een iets mildere voorspelling, maar beide stations geven nog steeds dezelfde voorspelling/verwachting.

Ik ben erg tevreden over de MOS. Natuurlijk kan niks 100% perfect zijn, maar de MOS werkt bij mij in hele grote lijnen erg betrouwbaar.

Maar feitelijk, zoals ik van Nol begrijp, klopt er geen hout van die handleiding van Davis. Inderdaad lijkt het erop dat ze enkel de luchtdruk (trend) gebruiken voor het opmaken van de verwachting voor de komende 48 uur. Anders had Nol wel verschillende verwachting zien staan op het display. Ik ben benieuwd of er nog iets zal veranderen bij Nol....

Ik hou het nauwlettend in de gaten, want( sem)proffesioneel zal het toch moeten zijn, en wil naar de kijkers van de site iets geloofwaardigs neerzetten en geen natte vinger methode voor veel euro's en als het niet anders is zullen we er mee moeten leven want de Yank op een ander been te zetten zal niet lukken. Tis on te verkope en nie om te gebruike , en verder nie zeik....

Nol, je geeft eigenlijk zelf het antwoord al.

Ze schrijven wel in de handleiding dat het een combinatie van meerdere meet-grootheden is, met daarbij het tijd van het jaar en de locatie. Maar het kan dus niks anders zijn dan de barometer, het seizoen en de locatie; want die 3 items zijn voor beide units die je gebruikt het zelfde.

Je komt er nu achter omdat je de Vantage Pro2 console en de Envoy gebruikt op een manier die eigenlijk niemand zo gebruikt.

Hallo Cris,

Daar hoor je mij niet over, ik maak er ook gebruik van en heb de hele zaak zelfs vertaald en loopt als een script op mijn site, maar als je goed gelezen hebt heb ik een kale envoy met "alleen" UV/solar en wind deze geeft dezelfde resultaten als de andere console waar alles mee gemeten wordt, dat was mijn vraag.dus regen en kou kan hij niet voorspellen, en moet dus alleen op de barometer afgaan .
