OK, zojuist dit verhaal in het WD-forum geplaatst:

Just in order to clarify this matter..
It seems that in earlier versions of WD the daily reset (in this case midnight) was done even though the PC was shut off during the change of day.
Since a while (version 10.37O ??) WD doesn't reset the daily extremes when reading the 00:00 hour data from the datalogger or console.
I don't have this problem myself (running 24/7), but several Dutch WD-users who close down their PC's during nighttime mention this problem, which assumingly didn't occur in earlier versions.
As a result, some extreme values on their own websites and on the website www.hetweeractueel.nl (The Actual Weather in The Netherlands) are not correct. Manual reset after restarting the PC in the morning could be an alternative, but is not an elegant solution.
So, the question is: could it be arranged that WD does the daily reset at the moment the midnight data is read from the console/logger?

Kortgezegd is de vraag dus of WD zodanig kan worden aangepast dat zodra de middernacht-data worden uitgelezen uit de console/datalogger, de dagelijkse reset kan worden gedaan. Dit omdat er verkeerde extremen op de diverse websites te zien zijn als er geen reset plaatsvindt.
Overigens schreef een andere gebruiker in hetzelfde topic dat WD nooit de reset deed als de PC om 00:00 uur niet aanstond. Ik heb geen idee wat nu het geval is, want ik draai zoals gezegd 24/7.
Even afwachten maar wat het antwoord van Brian is. We zullen waarschijnlijk wel een paar dagen geduld moeten hebben.
